Staff & Places Deletion
When you remove a resource (staff or place), they are soft-deleted. All their existing and future bookings remain safely on your timeline, but they are hidden from setup menus, settings, and new client booking options. To clear their schedule, you can easily view their future bookings on the Bookings Dashboard and reassign them to other active resources either individually or in bulk.
On the Bookings Dashboard, you will see a 'Bulk Reassign Bookings' utility if any future bookings belong to a deleted staff member or place. Clicking it opens a window where you can distribute their bookings to active staff. You can reassign all bookings at once (bulk) or customize target staff for each booking individually. Plans & Subscription
Kinibook offers flexible plans to fit every stage of your business. We have a Free plan (with up to 30 bookings and 30 reminders/month), and flexible Premium plans starting from RM29/month. Our Premium plans scale with your monthly bookings volume (from 50 to 500+ bookings) and include advanced features. Review current packages and select a plan on our Billing Options Page.
Upgrading instantly increases your monthly booking limit and unlocks premium feature access (e.g. custom notification triggers, multi-stylist logins, design customization, and store credit package sales). Downgrading will reduce your limits and might restrict certain features at the end of your billing cycle. Manage your subscription at Settings > Billing.
On paid plans, you have a set monthly booking limit. If your business exceeds this quota before the month ends, you can purchase one-off packages of 'extra bookings' directly on the Billing Settings Page rather than upgrading your entire plan tier. This keeps your booking page active for new appointments. On the Free plan, bookings use prepaid credits, where each booking costs RM 0.60.
Prepaid & Billing
Your prepaid balance is fully preserved! If you upgrade from the Free tier to a paid monthly plan, your existing prepaid balance remains in your account as a reserve. It will not expire, and can be used for extra bookings, additional add-ons, or will resume if you switch back to a free plan in the future. View your current balance details under Billing settings.
The Free plan has no monthly subscription fee. Instead, each booking costs a flat RM 0.60, which is deducted from your prepaid balance. You must top up your balance to keep your portal active. If your balance falls below RM 0.60, clients will not be able to schedule appointments until a top-up is made on the Billing > Top-Up Settings Page.
Timezone & Localization
Kinibook operates strictly under Malaysian Standard Time (Asia/Kuala_Lumpur, UTC+8). This ensures all dates, schedules, and notifications are calculated accurately without any timezone drift or off-by-one errors in your client's browser or on our servers. When parsing date strings, a +08:00 offset is always appended for safety.
Payments
Yes. Kinibook enables merchants to integrate their own Curlec (by Razorpay) or HitPay payment gateways. Once connected and enabled, you can collect a fixed booking deposit, a percentage, or the full service fee from customers before their appointment slot is confirmed, significantly reducing no-shows. Kinibook integrates with Curlec (by Razorpay) and HitPay, which are popular payment gateways in Malaysia. Your customers can pay deposits using FPX (online banking), Touch 'n Go eWallet, credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard), and GrabPay, depending on which gateway you connect and enable. You can choose to collect a fixed deposit amount, a percentage of the service fee, or the full payment upfront. Set up your payment gateway under Settings > Payments.
Getting Customers & Visibility
Once your Kinibook page is set up, you get a unique booking link (e.g., kinibook.co/your-business). Share this link anywhere your customers find you — paste it in your Instagram bio, post it on your Facebook page, add it to your WhatsApp status, include it in Google Business Profile, or even print it on your business cards. Every time someone clicks the link, they see your real-time availability and can book instantly without any back-and-forth.
Yes. Every Kinibook booking page is SEO-optimized out of the box with structured JSON-LD schema, dynamic XML sitemaps, canonical tags, and OpenGraph meta tags. This means your booking page can appear in Google search results when potential customers search for your services. For best results, link your Kinibook page from your Google Business Profile and social media accounts to boost your local SEO ranking.
Kinibook sends automatic WhatsApp reminders to customers one day before their appointment at 9:00 PM Malaysian time. Customers receive a message with their service details, time, staff name, and location. This helps dramatically reduce forgotten appointments and no-shows. The reminder timing is fixed — it is not configurable — ensuring a consistent and reliable notification experience for every customer.
Kinibook sends automated WhatsApp messages for booking confirmations (sent immediately when a customer books) and appointment reminders (sent one day before at 9:00 PM Malaysian time). Business owners also receive instant notifications when a new booking is made. Kinibook does not send promotional broadcasts or marketing messages — it focuses on reliable, transactional booking communication that keeps both you and your customers informed.
Booking Page & Branding
Absolutely. Kinibook lets you personalize your booking page to match your brand. You can upload your business logo, set a cover banner image, choose accent colors that match your brand identity, and customize the page description. No website or domain required. Kinibook gives you a professional booking page at your own unique kinibook.co/your-business link. Your customers can book directly from this page on any device. If you already have a website, you can easily embed your Kinibook booking page or add a "Book Now" button that links to it. No technical skills, hosting, or domain purchase needed.
Scheduling & Availability
Kinibook gives you full control over your schedule. You can set regular operating hours for each day of the week, define specific break times, and mark public holidays or off days when your business is closed. You can also set different hours for different staff members. When a day is marked as off, customers will not be able to book any slots for that date. Manage your schedule under Staff & Resources.
Yes. Kinibook handles walk-in customers easily. When a customer walks in without a prior booking, you can manually create an appointment through your staff dashboard. The system checks real-time availability and adds the booking to your timeline, preventing double-bookings. Your online calendar automatically updates to reflect the walk-in, so future online customers see accurate availability. Walk-ins are managed under Bookings Dashboard.
Customers cannot reschedule or cancel appointments on their own from the booking confirmation link. They must contact you directly via WhatsApp to request any changes. Once they reach out, you can manually reschedule or cancel the booking on their behalf from your Bookings Dashboard. When a booking is cancelled, the time slot is automatically freed up and becomes available for other customers.

Yes. Kinibook is built mobile-first. Your staff dashboard is fully accessible from any smartphone browser — no app download needed. You can view your daily schedule, manage bookings, update staff availability, check notifications, and handle customer inquiries all from your phone. Additionally, our WhatsApp Assistant Bot lets you quickly audit your schedule and upcoming bookings without opening the dashboard — useful for a fast status check on the go. The bot is read-only (audit view); to make changes you use the full dashboard.
