Auto-Reminder Schedule
In Kinibook, WhatsApp reminders are fully automated and require no configuration.
When you confirm an appointment, the system automatically schedules a reminder notification to be sent to the client. This reminder is dispatched on the day before the client's scheduled appointment.
You can monitor all scheduled and sent reminders under the Reminders tab in your sidebar.
Setting Your Notification Number
To receive instant alerts on your phone whenever a client makes a new booking:
Step 1: Open Notifications Settings
Navigate to Notifications in your dashboard sidebar.
Step 2: Enter Admin Number
Enter your WhatsApp number (ensure it starts with your country code prefix, e.g. 60123456789 for Malaysia).
Step 3: Save Connection
Click the Save button next to the input field.
Do not include spaces, dashes, or a leading `+` sign (e.g. do not write `+6012-345 6789` or `0123456789`). The gateway requires numeric digits only with the `60` prefix. Invalid formats will cause silent message delivery failures.
Preventing Double-Bookings
To protect your team's rest periods and prevent client booking overlaps:
- Navigate to Settings.
- Configure buffer rules (e.g. "15-minute buffer").
- This automatically adds 15 minutes to the end of every appointment so staff have time to reset.
